My approach to design projects involves blending the client's dreams and aspirations for the project with the purpose that the space will be used for. I factor in the architecture, respectfully, and fuse it all together creating a synthesized orchestration for the client. I enjoy working in a broad range of styles and esthetic's from Classic Historical-Traditional, to Modern Mid-Century International Style. With 2 collage degrees in Interior Design and an extensive background in Art History, including many overseas studies of Art and Architectural monuments around the world, I have a great pool of experience and education that I draw from for my design work. This site shows some of my work including various personal homes that I either own or have owned over the years which includes:1.) My Sierra Towers condominium on the 30th floor, which had formerly been the home of the actor Mr. Peter Lawford. 2.) A small Cliff May cottage that I owned and restored. 3.) My 1929 Hancock Park 4-plex that I also owned and restored, and in which I maintained my home and office. 4.) A 1953 George Montierth mid-century house that I purchased and restored for my elderly mother, Deborah, at Virginia Country Club, California. 5.) My current home and project, which is the restoration of a mid-century 4-plex/condominium-conversion building that I own, located on a small hilltop in the Silverlake district of Los Angeles. Also shown are examples of several rooms that I have done overthe years in a variety of Showcase Houses located in southern Californiaas well as several professional projects that I have done for clients over the years.
